Towards a more balanced residential market
Barbette de Graaf is driven by the ambition to make a contribution to portfolio optimisations and thus help improve the balance in the real estate market. Her sector-wide experience extends across commercial, public and residential real estate, but her focus in the past 10 years has been on residential properties. The housing market is out of kilter. Imbalances are visible between owner-occupied and rented housing, between social rented and free-market rented housing and, more specifically, between normal housing and housing for people with moderate or intensive care needs. These imbalances concern both quality and quantity, as well as the distribution across social and private landlords.
